Silenced

By ThoughtsOthoughts

And he says "so what do you think is the reason for blah blah blah"
Ya that is how i heard it
That is what i am hearing right now
As I sit here listening to that man
In the front of the room

I do not believe he is saying anything
"Blah blah blah"
Thats all my notes seem to say
And I do take precise notes

So I look around to maybe get a clue as to what is going on
But everyone is silenced
Looking up or down

But not at that man in the front
Who, I have to say, is staring us down
He seems angry

Why isn't anyone answering him
Wait did he even ask a question?
Blah blah blah is all I heard and that is no question

An eerie feeling is crawling up my arm
The silence is getting longer and stronger
No one seems to want to answer

So I raise my hand
And break this horrible silence

All the chills run down my back
In hopes that they will run out through my toes

I speak the immortal words of today
"Blah blah blah," and he is satisfied

Talk about everyday. This is the best I've seen the confusion represented.
