Brutal Reality

By Krusifire

Don't fight reality.
Stop re-living your past.
And let it be.
Decide to learn from their mistakes.
And stop suffering from your own.
Your a dreamer and the dream that you have.
Is the one that only you can see.
Words aren't enough to say.
You've lost sight.
You've slipped away.

-Brutal Reality-
This is what it means to me.

Protected by your innocence.
I guess you just don't know.
Love is not strong enough.
To take on the anger of the world.
Sheltered away from the real world.
I guess you just don't understand.
It's not what your given.
It's what you take from me.

-Brutal Reality-
This is what it means to me.

The beloved.
Will be remembered.
And the hated are forever shunned.
With every single passing breath.
Someones castle crummbles to the ground.
The joyous will live in harmony.
And the sullen will die alone.
The rich will want it all.
And the poor will just wonder why.

-Brutal Reality-
This is what it means to me.
