Keeper Of The Flames

By Krusifire

I know how life can be so cold.
How faces can grow old.
It's so hard to be alone.
When your so far from home.
So, blame me.
Before I blame myself.
Don't keep your heart upon a shelf.
I can't believe in all the lies.
A tears falling from my eyes.

Keeper of the flames.
Show me the way.
Keeper of the flames.
It will never be the same.

Whispers echo in my mind.
I tried but couldn't walk the line.
I guess I'll have to do my time.
Never ask me why.
Friction and hate.
I gave it away.
Traded love for fortune and fame.
Your words haunt me every night.
Love of my life.

Keeper of the flames.
Show me the way.
Keeper of the flames.
It will never be the same.
