Teethclencher

By _Andrew_

(This is a song that my band has done, October In Maine.)

I long to see
How it would be
Without you
Without me

I long to see
How it would be
With you
Without me

As I move on
I can only
Regret how I left you
Left this all behind me

I need you
To hold on
To this memory
I'm so fond of

How could you have let me do this
It won't be the same
The void inside grows only deeper
With every memory

Falling to my knees
I realise what I've done
As I reconcile between the man I once was
And the man
I have
Become

Everchanging
For you
For me
For us
I realise
I have nothing
But myself

And this false hope...

Seeing his face
Blank of expression
Only regretting what you did;
Or didn't
The pain never goes away
Nor will this emptiness

Inside...

How could you have let me do this
It won't be the same
All we've got is this memory
Which only fades away

With time...
