My Apologies

By Blyss Rayne

My insecurities could swallow me whole
I will rest in the belly of fear
Until the oxygen is gone and
The hand of Death reaches out
To grab hold of my decaying soul
And drag me into the depths of despair
There, unbreathing, I will wait
For hope, for a savior, for my faith to be recognized
Tell me now
If you would have me believe
That you would take me out of that place
If you would battle the creature
And place me back on solid ground

Before I fall, I must know you will catch me

And I'm sorry I can't believe that yet
