Collage of a Mind
By Storm
Such a distraction.
:The wind never change direction unnoticed.:
I found this fraction;
:The winds never change...:
A fault in the foundation
:...unnoticed by the leaves.:
A subtle mutation.
:Wintertime there are no leaves.:
Growing out of me.
:In cruel cold of winter...:
A twisted treachery.
:...leaves die and winds thrive.:
How did it slip by?
:And now the darkness is closing in on us.:
With no time to say goodbye.
:But the stars have been out for long..:
Would have needed it.
:..hidden in the light of the nightly sun.:
And now I’m leaving bit by bit.
:Even now when the night is restored;
Bittersweet disintegration.
:No constealltions act their myths.:
Trapped in this stagnation.
:Whom, but the stars, look down in times?:
The lull before the explosion.
:To watch the dead world changing.:
Of heldback emotion.
:Autumn’s chasing the yelloing leaves..:
And this riddle I can’t solve.
:..thorn off by the changes of the wind.:
Into what will I evolve?

Evolution is painful, it is gradual, it is suffering...But who is to say it is a good thing? Who is to say anything is better off somewhere else? Who is to say anything at all?
