Carry On

By Krusifire

There once was a child.
Who was so alone.
No one touched his heart.
So it turned to stone.
Alone.
No guideing hand.
So misunderstood.
No one believed in him.
But he knew he could.
Reach the stars.
He longed to hear.
"I believe in you"
But those words never came.
His desperation grew.
Alone.

-Some day you'll reach the stars.
Until then carry on.-

His need for love.
His need for a friend.
Kept him one step away.
From the bitter end.
The end.
Playing for keeps.
In a losing game.
So held back by sadness.
So driven by fame.
The price.
Looking back.
Through the years.
He's felt the pain.
He still tastes the tears.
Alone.

-Some day you'll reach the stars.
Until then carry on.-

This is a very elaborate expression of yourself. I felt the intensity of your loneliness with each word. I can tell that this piece is an ispiration in it's own to you.

Well done. The stoneheart reference is a delight.
