Save You

By ashottothetemple

I want so bad
To take your pain
Every last drop
Of your sorrow
And your anguish
Hide it from you
Sew it unto my skin
Shade it from your memory
Bear it's full weight
If only for your
Sweet happiness
Whatever it takes
To end the river
Of constant sadness
Pulsing from your arm
Take away everything
You're still perfect to me
Don't hide your scars
They remind me
To my purpose
Shielding oytur eyes
And your kind heart
From the cold world
Build your dreams
With my two hands
Calmly breathing
Breathe life unto your
Torn and weary soul
Forevermore
Spilling my love for you
