I AM
By Silent_Raven
I am:
Unwanted,
Nobody's old rag doll,
A vanished memory,
A dust bunny
Under a cheap whore's creaking bed-
I am that old heartache,
That irritating, ugly scab
Itching and clawing at you
From underneath your shining perfection.
I am the silent witness,
A scream in a mad girl's dream,
The rotten vegetable
At the bottom of your lukewarm fridge.
I am the maggot,
Eating your flesh and your soul
From the inside out,
An old love note
Thrown out with Yesterday's garbage.
I am your discarded lover,
Your unpaid prostitute,
Selling you my love
For your empty compliments,
Rejected and returned
Like an unopened letter.
I am your feverish nightmare,
Your most cherished enemy
With my persistence as the only proof
Of all you've left behind.

You have written something that has never before been said like this.
