With Friends Like This...

By Invader Lyn

your face meant nothing to me
don't even try to create a memory
if I ever even knew your name
it was forgotten when I ended the game
I played until I got tired
the listlessness I so much admired
I do not care if you felt something more
to me you were just another whore

the stain of you will still remain
I grew from the way you bled your pain
your tears brought smiles to my nights
I loved when your eyes stopped showing light
the knife in your back brings luster to my skin
your noose gets tighter with each cheshire grin
I'll stay with you until the bitter end
to laugh everytime you think I'm your friend
