Shining

By Lucia

Shining, Glowing,
Attributes Of Your Wings,
Watch You As You Fly On By.
Too Good For Ground,
You Seek The Sky.

You Want To Soar,
Want To Play Ballet In The Air,
But Your Chained To The Ground,
By Your Cum-Stained Underwear.

How Can The Sky Trust You?
To Never Go Back To The Ground?
You Have Such An Indulgence In It,
Even Though It's Wrought From Conceit.

Your Truth Only Goes Skin Deep,
Your Core Is As Black As Mine...
But Where Mine Has Been Painted Over,
You're Sins Have Stained Right Through...

I Hope And Pray,
You Learn To Make The Darkness Shy Away,
I'll Be Soaring, Waiting For The Day,
When You Once Again Fly With My In The Heavens...

...Of Our Hearts.
