Our Shades Of Gray(Have Turned To Black)

By Krusifire

Face the fact.
I'm leaving.
And never coming back.
I'm on my own.
I tried to call.
But she hangs up the phone.
My heart is aching.
Cause i've given more.
Than i've taken.
My days are long. My nights are cold.
This tells me somethings wrong.
Our shades of gray have turned to black.
Your nothing but a monkey on my back.
Face the truth.
Our times got old.
Now i'm hanging by a noose.
You can't keep the fires burning.
When the sparks all gone.
And the wheels stop turning.
Some like it dangerous.
Some like it simple.
And some might get famous.
Woman please.
I'm begging you.
I'm falling to my knees.
Our shades of gray have turned to black.
Your nothing but a monkey on my back.
I knew when I heard you cry.
We had a long way to go.
To get to paradise.
You said... I've got alot to learn.
But others think I know enough.
I've got to keep my head up.
Looking at the starry skies.
Wishing that you never left.
Never said goodbye.
That night.
Alone.
I cried.
Our shades of gray have turned to black.
Your nothing but a monkey on my back.
