Broken Dreams

By Khyleria

Living in a world of illusion
realms of vibrant fantasy
dragons, faeries and goblins too
dark figures robed in msytery

The heroes slowly turn to dust
as to a desert the mirage turns
the plane of magic begins to wither
as angry the dragon's fire burns

Now the visions are distant
whisked away by the hand of fate
nothing left but a memory
broken dreams in a land of hate
