Seeking Release

By Khyleria

A razorblade held against my wrist
Hovering, clenched in my fist
One cut would end the pain
Of a life and love so in vain

Adrenaline surges through my veins
From the fear and to which it pertains
Fear of the love within my breast
So I seek a release in eternal rest

Would you love me then my light so dear
Would you hold me close and shed a tear
This one act of self hatred, please forgive
For alone in myself I can no longer live
