Midnight's Bliss

By eternal despair

The sky is blacker then my heart
Stars glistening -- almost dancing
The moon glares as small clouds whisp by

My heart seems to beat faster as I lay there and watch
In all it's beauty the midnight's sky has my attention tonight

The wind in the trees is like a symphony
Owls and crikets sing along
The sound of my new born heart keeps the beat

These things I've left un-noticed for much to long
Again I know the simple pleasures in life

I smell the crisp air
With the scent of a roses whisper
A soothing end to a wiked storm

I can almost call this the freedom I've been yearning for
Only one thing is missing in my blissful evening

the cool breeze hugs me
I feel a single tear drop
I can feel once more...
