Frozen For A Moment

By ShadowFlight

Stopped
Coffee flowing with hair in the wind
Voices babble suddenly silent
The same thing as so many different faces
The same time over long years
Youth rises and flees on cigarrette smoke
to be replaced
And new youth grow while the old youth
along with the old
Hang in the corners and along the ceilings
with the smoke and the babble
Watching the spaces where they were once young
Comments and and advice
odd utterances colored by years
Not wholly remembered now
less the longing
Desire to go back and find was sought
not quite found then
Not quite remembered now.

this was so imaginative as it weaved through the images and thoughs intelligent and deep, also beautiful in its observations
