an angry gray day, july 6-13, 2003

By boundandfallen

sleep will come eventually,
morning and night's become the same to me
when dawn and dusk appears the same,
something stirs within my brain
but insomnia and tainted thoughts
won't repress the pain i've brought
so who do i have to thank for this?
she, and love, a spiteful bliss
so, eventually sleep will come,
hopefully before grim reaper does
but anyway, what was i saying?
oh, sleep,
yeah, sleep,
i'll just keep on praying.

Nice write. Insomnia can really take its toll. My dad has had extreme insomnia for years. Poor guy has to nap an hour at a time. JD
