Wanderlust

By a restless wanderer

Within my shadows
I rest alone.
No place I find
to call my home.
I rest my head
in an empty room
and from here again
I'll move on soon.
All my pains
I've left behind
and passions, lost
in the sands of time.
A place to rest
is all I seek.
So long in vain,
my heart is weak.
But I must go on,
I can not stop.
In an empty room
I will not drop.
