Rawnice

By Jadednoir

This is affectin in most ominous ways
Cannot wait for the routine
Sad Gentle Killer Eyes
Piercing the rtembling thick skin.
Hatred rooted deep
He has contained himself, and he runs
All of this a metaphor for lessons we could've learned
Frantic sporadic, to hold on to the stem of the rose.
Ripping each and every delicate precious petal
from the zenith of it's creation.
Can I do this with my memory too?
This rose has wilted.
Fading in an inconsolable manner....
In your sad gentle killer eyes, I saw only salvation.
Seems like it was the scar in the sky.
Unrequitted waking.
A partial vulnerable state.
I can feel the distance getting closer now.

A scar in the sky rapes the moon.
oh with passion it does, tearing my eye.
Unmeaningless connections floating (resting) in the air we breathe
Look at these awed eyes. Please question me.
Leather or roses it's all the same.
Scar in the sky rapes the moon.
Look at me, and smile once more.

  • A former member wrote: "A scar in the sky rapes the moon" This line was great and the entire piece was very intense. Nicely done. ~Ship!

  • A former member wrote: 'A scar in the sky rapes the moon' pure drenched evocative passion...'leather or roses'...edged like a knife across flesh, this poem bleeds desire & metal black ...welldone.
