needlepoint in the moonlight (or a lesson in addiction)

By theBAC

melting it in a spoon
like my heart that melts for you
do it with me and you’ll see
so many glorious images
you can taste the air

feel the burn
rushing through your veins
the infinite orgasm

pierce my skin like a bullet
and fill me with your liquid love
close your eyes
feel the world spin around you

sweat at night
and shiver
the powder screams your name
heroin/e in distress
wanting to be comforted
and to comfort you
to grab ahold of your atoms
pull them and manipulate

i draw pictures on my arms
to cover your (my) tracks
a silver cross connects the lines
a symbol of salvation
to mask my damnation

its okay that you do not love me anymore
so stay with me because you’re weak
i have changed i know this
you just can’t let go of the image
of who i once was

you see me
my destruction
the shell of a body and mind
and you know i will destroy myself
yet you too continue on
your habit is also growing
like your disgust for me
i trapped you and will control you
like the substance does me
you are mine forever

lets begin our fall
