It's All Relative
By one-fanged vision
In the commons
One girl
5' short
slamming a shoe down onto the floor
next to her crossed legs
part of heel flaking off
thin whisps of orange hair flailing madly
"Eric your girlfriend's a bit autistic today"
She is diseased
a rat with cancer
ugly
with anger
plucking hairs from her head
till bald patches remain
In the shower she cries
tears or water, it's all the same
both are drowning her pores
with pity
from clear to pink
the water stings her unoriginal attempt
to seek revenge
"revenge for what?"
She's cursed with
anti-sociality
shy creep
she wants to be a dancer
an actor, singer, complete
she's a nothing
and she won't acknowledge it
to hell with disbelievers
who spit on her dreams
In the commons
Best Friend glances at a display of rage
whispers something on Brian's shoulder
who laughs her fears away
Best Friend abandoned by raging OC
goddamn perfectionist
Boyfriend looks to Best Friend
"Eric, your girlfriend looks a bit..."His face finishes Her wordsBoth victims
of one self-victimizing girl's cracking shoe
she never sits next to Him
she doesn't talk
sulks pouts
a painting of the lowest point
of the bottomless pit
disturbed child
filled with pride
tormented, torn, killed
with pride
Best Friend
sits in zen
tantrums from this attention-seeking rat
cannot manipulate anymore
She is not afraid of this fickle waste of organs
stress is no longer passed down.
volunteer, free spirit
no longer cornered
no longer criticized
She's alone now
but no longer inside
Independant whore,
clear-faced smile
laughs and watches reject
pounding away at her shoe
imagining Best Friend's face
Who doesn't give a damn anymore.
