victory rose

By theBAC

(or if the black box recorder is orange what else are They lying about)

often
very often
when driving to work
or any place
i’ll be in my truck
and stopped dead in traffic
the sun beating down
Sigur Ros’ Untitled album playing
and i’ll look around me
at the SUV’s with the soccer moms
the construction workers
with the nascar numbers in the back windows
of their 1/2 ton trucks
the white guys in the rice burners
the black guys in the cadillacs
everyone on their cell phones
or thumpin’ their bass
i’ll look around and feel
like i am the only one
who gets the punchline
to the world’s joke
