2: the love of my life (you know who you are)
By beginning_poet
::::okay, before you read this, i convinced my sweetheart to just try and
write something, hehe...i won! so, i give her full credit, please comment
what you think, she and i would strongly appreciate it::::
"Happy Anniversary"
doesn't seem like enough to say
to someone who means
as much to me as you do...
someone who floats
in and out of my thoughts
all day long
and shows up in my dreams at night...
someone who makes my life
exciting and unpredictable
who talks me into doing crazy shit
that wouldn't be fun
with anyone else
i can't describe the feeling i get
when i see you from a distance
with that smile of yours on your face
its part excitment,
part anticipation,
part nervousness...
...sort of like a first date, all over again
::::okay,what did you guys think for a complete rookie? hehe...she's tlkain
bout me guys!!! but anyways, be honest, take care...peace::::

... of poetry from the fleshtongue...floating. The beauty here is felt; is real. Well done. "Happy Anniversary" as much as it feels much less, is in spirit...enuff!

I reckon that's just lovely - and I really like the bit "that wouldn't be fun with anyone else" the phrasing is just right. FF
