The American way

i have a fear that goes threw my mind
will this be the end to man kind?
will we all be living in a world of fear
with no safe haven far or near

all the war and all the fight
goes on peircing the night
and it looks as there is no end
and everyone has something to mend

but chaos always prevails in time
and peace this world i doubt will find
so we will go on destroying each other each and every day
but that is the american way
