No Chains

I was brought up somewhat free
I am not one to be
caged in this cell of yours
living behind locked doors
feeding off scraps of spoiled food
expected to have a grateful mood
expect me to live as this
you'll have many parts to miss
because I refuse to agree
to live as anything but free.
