Immortality
By Audrey_Star
As my time and memory fades from mind
a piece of me I hope to find.
My words, my spirit; I hope to weave
from this fluid I believe.
I worship this life and all it holds;
For everyday new things unfold.
Even death is that to sanctify
if I live I know I’ll die.
It will arise in a gentle tide.
It is something we cannot hide.
But upon this earth before you part;
Share your mind, your soul, your heart.
Our fear of death is our only vice.
Our life to death we sacrifice.
