SNARED

By LIFEINVADER

The sun has rIsen, a new dawn's birth,
yet you are gone, like yesterday's mirtH,
you feigned, you lied, clAimed love so deep,
but wind carried words, leaving me to weep.

Alone now, with tears that sting,
i fell for your Trap, a bitter swing,
your love, a curse, a damnEd snare,
slowly draining life, leaving despair.

Your love's a trap, a cruel deceit,
devouring mY heart, my sOul's defeat,
in shadows I dwell, yoUr ghost I fight,
trapped in the dark, devoid of sight.
