Fractured

By LIFEINVADER

In shadows deep, time's cruel hand unfurls,
nd bonds once strong, decay as life swirls,
relationships fade, like whispers in the night,
leaving trails of sorrow, with no end in sight.

Friendships, once vibrant, now mere echoes lost,
as hours slip away, like autumn's final frost,
in fleeting moments, we dance with shallow glee,
but time's relentless grasp claims all we see.

Family ties, woven with love's tender thread,
are worn thin by trials, where hope is left for dead,
as years roll on, hearts strain against the strain,
struggling to find solace, but finding only pain.

Within ourselves, we chase elusive dreams,
seeking purpose, as time unravels at the seams,
the path to discovery, a never-ending fight,
y et, in the end, our efforts yield no respite.

For life's challenges, they come and go,
but in the grand tapestry, what do they show?
A fading whisper, a distant cry,
as time's unyielding march, leaves us wondering why.

So we march on, against the ceaseless tide,
through the darkness, where our hopes reside,
but in the end, we find a bittersweet embrace,
for life's true meaning eludes our mortal chase.
