Words like Honey

By Soulfire

I read your poem again and again
Sweet words like honey dripping over my skin
My body reacts to the way that you speak
Shivers on my flesh and my knees go weak
The touch of your hand sending chills down my spine
Meeting you- loving you- kissing you part of His grand design
To touch you- to taste you- to breathe in your scent
Those moments with you is when I feel most content
Tasting your tongue and staring into your eyes
Slowly your hand slides up my thighs
Holding my hands on your handsome face
My pulse quickens and my heart begins to race
My heart skips a beat and I gasp for air
Running my hands through and gently pulling your hair
I put my mouth to your ear and quietly moan
We’ve burnt the world down and we’re finally alone
I am your queen and you are my soldier
We have one life to live and we are the controllers
So take my hand and let’s walk away
To the forest by the ocean where the trees always sway
