With You

By God Is In The Rain

It turns out -
all that has beginning
also has an end,
That it's not years - but steps what makes you wise.

But as long -
as we walk forward
together hand in hand,
I worry not if to a cliff - or paradise.

If you went back, then maybe you would find it -
the path you missed, that'd lead to better life.
But would you want - to even go and try it,
knowing our time may fade along the strife?

If I went back, then maybe I would find it -
the path I missed, that'd lead to better place.
But with you - I do not even mind it,
it was worth the smile that's on your face.

if road is -
paved with our laughter
paved with our songs,
paved with our tears - or paved with starless nights.

I just pray -
may travels be short
may they be long,
let them be full - of wonderful sights.

If you turned back, then maybe you would find it -
moment you missed, that'd lead to fewer tears.
But would you want - to even go and try it,
if it could skip some of our cheers?

If I turned back, then maybe I would find it -
moment I missed, that'd bring us one more day.
But with you - I do not even mind it,
if I walk through colors or through gray.

So I think -
back to the quiet
back to the fuss,
even through void, I feel you here with me.

And I thank -
our lucky stars
for having us,
however fleeting our stay might be.

Time can't go back, but inside you can find it -
let's meet next life, or maybe tomorrow.
And with you - I do not even mind it,
I am just glad we got to know.
