Morning Sick

By Queazenart

Ceramic acquaintance.
Porcelain friend.
These days always start so horribly.

Heavy breathing
in hopes to ease the edge.

Exploding in the head and chest
but so exhausted from it.

Try not to fall asleep in the fluids
drowning in a puddle.

Try not to let it come back up
choking on the weight of yesterday
while on your back
asking the ceiling for answers.
