a map to nowhere - four

By TheCellphoneNovelist

four ; a map to salvation ; a map to limbs ;
desert plains ; coursing waves of sand ;
what dreams may come of journeys,
undertaken in haste ; in proxy wings ;
in nomad clothes ; dreams only held together
by bone glue and stitches of skin ; the thread,
a sinew ; magma as feet that turn sand to glass ;
dreams to shards ; fragments are the only thing
the sand does not bury ; fragments tread
the desert plains ; there is no weight in ghosts.

    I very much enjoyed this four part piece. You definitely set a mood with your excellent imagery and stylistically this piece had the feel of flashes of memory. A pleasure to read your work! Ciao, T/S Scholar
