A heart so full
By Valhalla
Old friend, old friend
I came once more to say goodbye
I need to see your face again
Before my spirit sweeps the tide
For emotions alone stand at the heart of winter
And any trace of thought is only but a puny splinter
The die will roll
The bells will toll
My wounded self has failed to see the whole
You knew, you knew
That what was found cannot be lost
The endless fall that brings us all
Towards the sky has shown its cost
Surely as only the greatest coward can be sure
You chose to kiss the dark, I chose to endure
For all to see
The number three
Which tells this tale of them, you and me
The light, the fight
The devil knows you're looking for
I offered on a silver plate
I was your devil and much more
Great is the joy across all your cursed land
The hero's alive, the beast burned by the brand
Against the wire
So sad, so dire
A heart so full of love and wild desire

This is a great, deep write. The start was great but I enjoyed it so much as it got darker.
