Fresh eye

By Alectozere

Ever took a fresh look at something extremely familiar to you?
A plushy, random furniture, that one tree, a car, your pet rock...

If you've never done it, you should try. It puts a new perspective on some things.
Look at it, but not in the way you always look at it.

Look at it like you're noting every single details, important or not, mentally noting them, going over them again and again.

When that's done, look at it again.

If you got that weird feeling of unfamiliarity or just a random ''huh, since when was it that [insert adjective]?'', then congrats! You managed to look at this thing the way someone who've never seen it sees it.

...So? What's the point? Is it useful in any way...?

Well, I can't think of any right now, but getting different angles of things that you end up taking for granted can't be that bad, eh?
