Origami Armoire

By Chelsey Elaine

                if only,

                   â˜»
                   â˜»

she said;
we could assemble our lives
like an exquisite piece of Origami.

With every bend; crease
and each new imagined slice,
something rather enchanting would arise.

and with such a methodical grace,
we could position ourselves
on a delicate crystaline shelf.

Our everlasting poise now showcased,
for all the heartless flesh drones
to behold us in green-eyed admiration.

could you just fathom it? she said.

                         â˜»
                         â˜»

                      If only.
