Soul Tired

By DeificLightning

Sleep doesn’t work for the heavy,
Those with heavy hearts and heavy minds.
When your soul is sucked dry,
And all you ever are is tired.
A tiredness that never sleeps.
A sleepiness that never leaves.
The want to close your eyes forever,
And sink into oblivion.
Into the inky blackness.
Into the numbing dark.
Into the silence.
Into the nothing.
