Shackles fall

By Sapphire

Yesterday's reality
Today's nightmares
But tomorrow smiles
Filled with sweet promises
Shackles fall

Yesterday's was physical
Knuckles were bleeding
Today's is lyrical
The heart is healing

Write me a poem
And tomorrow looks magical
With scars so beautiful
The shackles fall

there's so few things as cathartic as writing out those emotions. I enjoyed this, thanks for posting it
