What Is The Difference

By Bloody_Hands

Love, hate what’s the difference
Either way we suffer for them
The lines between the two blend
Merging somewhere where we cannot see

I don’t understand why we wait for it
Hoping for love when in the end
We are wounded so deeply by it

Hate is the thought of you near me
I hate you with all I can think of
While at the same time
I cant help but love you

I love the way you move
The way you speak to me when we are near
I love the way you smile
The way you touch my face and say sorry

But I hate you, you cause me this pain
I can feel it, almost like bile on the tip of my tongue
I long to hurt you the way you hurt me
To crush that pathetic word that you use against me

Love
It is used to torture, to manipulate
All I am is your puppet, your toy
You use and abuse me, without a thought
Yet you don’t realize, what you do

Do you really think that all is well
While I slowly die inside here?
While I love with all my being
And hate it all still?

I hate you now, I don’t even know why
The two mixed when I was with you
And now I am lost in my own despair
While you still think that nothing is wrong

I laugh at myself, because no one has a clue
Not even you, you who knows me best
I feel as though my emotions are drowning me
And I do not wish to be saved

Will you try to save me?
With the thought
That your doing good?

Or will you stop, and realize
That with every action you do
You are killing me inside

Will you let me go
Or clutch to me
And pray for everything
To be better between us?

Or am just a fool
Who has lost the line
Between love and hate
The same way I lost you…
