SHADED GREY

By cogitative

A work inspired by Dandelions Roar🌻 ************************

loss of humanity
hatreds insanity
anguish they hand to me

walking along while singing a pessimistic song
Hatred our connection and metal our bond

self-taught uncshooled
the great book has them fooled

freakishly they treated me

in control of my destiny

bleeding tears sweating blood
unprepared for the flood

drowning in fear.
my future so vivid yet noticeably unclear .

remain as positive as i can
they say it's all apart of his plan
.....
It is his will!

Defecation of land as they rape pillage and kill.

but who is he?
what is free?
to be down on bended knees?

as we hang from the trees .....
I run and i flee

running to the arms of contempt
i stay so quiet

that truth they sold i just couldn't buy it

that truth is old!
so they try and deny it.

it's so cold as i shiver my body warms a little

entertainment for the weak as i play on my fiddle

passing me around my back pressed to the ground
as they all take their turn i dont make one sound.

my perseverance angers them in a patronizing way

beded by night and beaten by day
step out of line and they lock me away

force fed
body's dead
they need me to be strong

Hatred our connection and metal our bond.

am i not a person?
a living breathing life form?

so much cooperation as i slowly conform
i dont get in trouble these days i dont get out of place.
......
i just say "yes sir masta"...
with a smile on my face.

Unpurposed smiles on my face
my rebellion replaced.

my will and my strength was gone with submission replaced .

they some how managed ...
once unbreakable now damaged.

how do they sleep at night have they no remorse?
they are the ones broken and left no recourse.

they pray from that bible with so much conviction

they only worry for money and godly position
dysphoria their condition.

soulless as they hold us
in his word i distrust

who is he?
he overseas .. conquering .

Such terror to see those white sails on the horizon ...
Carrying the hearts of the wicked and empty bodies inside them.

Leaving a trail of perverted destruction behibd them.

destroyers...
conquering voyagers .

taking what they want forgetting what they need
their minds only full of confusion and greed.

narcissistic..
conjunction
peculiarly they function.

outrageous how they cage us...

until they need us .. never needing them.

Illusions of freedom..
they have never freed us

false freedom
false prophet
false names
false hope
false dreams
false happiness
False wealth
false worth
Falsified history fictitious rebirth
Falsification of pertinent information abusive pedagogy.
Trying to connect the dots like stars in astrology.

this is the truth.

stuck somewhere in midriff .......
there's a woman named ruth.

my maker my creator
my fine haired savior
my fighter
my DNA writer

I am half of the story
not on the other side

because you see the light and dark never agreed to collide.

They say it's not cosmetic and it's about what's inside.

But they lied.

A strongly and skilfully worded stream of consciousness Cog. You touch on many truths that the majority will use to hold sway over the many minorities, sadly. And they will write the history too - but he who writes last, writes best perhaps. Cheers! - Dan
