Kindred Spirits (Short)

By felicity0444

I feel the crunch of the snow
As I sit upon the ground.
I lift my face to the sky
And slowly I close my eyes.
Hoping to feel you near.
Somewhere in the wind.
Carried upon the glittering flakes
That softly touch my chin.
Our souls embrace as one
From miles apart.
Kindred spirits brought together
Never to be torn apart.

I like the simplicity in this one. It's so pure and heartfelt. Snow and souls coming together. Well done. - 10:43
