Candy apple eyes
By beamish
The wide eyes of a candy apple smitten child
Lustful red wrapped around the serpents tool of destruction
Yes I want a bite
I want to taste what is said to be off limits to me
The juice of desire dripping from my fangs
As I fall from grace
landing on a bed of carnal soft desires
Now I'll rest under these sheets of sins and lies
Still wondering if god's mistake was creating me
or
was I just too weak to resist her beautiful fire
Either way I lay open to the universe
Asking only for direction
Not redemption
As far as I can see redemption was never meant for me
I don't want to be one of those souls lost in the land of milk and honey
Instead I want to roam the forbidden dreams of fairies and dragons
Making my own candy covered apple from god's tree of fiery imagination
My shiny red apple might be the answer to it all
Or just the start of a life where the fall never meets the waiting ground

Outstanding extended metaphor B and the weakness of the flesh is a temptation beyond all others, when nature calls... Tastefully executed; don't break a tooth :) Cheers! - Dan
