The Weight on our Shoulders

By Brandon

One day earthly burdens will lift, giving way for wings to spread, and to discover a world outside of your head. I promise to you the light at the end, is closer than you think, will you be prepared for the rushing blink? When the ground beneath your feet, begins to cave, and in your bones you feel dark days, the light is closer than you think. When the void begins to hollow your being, when the time crawls while you're dreaming, when the lights behind your eyes begin to flicker, and the light at the end begins to shimmer, I promise it is closer than you think. Gliding Mountains take refuge over head, and ghosts inhabit your bed. The light is closer than you think.
