There is a thing

There is a thing
Some people call it peace
Some call it tranquility
Others call it serenity
And yet others still call it harnony
We all mean the same thing, right?
But do we know how it feels?
You may know what it is supposed to feel like
But have YOU felt it?
And if you feel it
Do you know that you are feeling it?
Is it just thoughts that you think
Is it actions that it causes
Or is it that you don't have to feel anything 
And you just "are" in that moment

I may have felt this thing before
But if I have I don't know for sure
I have been thinking I may be feeling it
But do you just know when you feel this thing
People try to explain it 
But it seems a fairytale
Something I could never grasp
Not with my life
Not with my luck
I don't deserve it anyways
And yet
What if this is it
What if this is what I am feeling
What if it is this thing
