A Schizophrenic's Love Story.

By Dark Chocolate

  ~~~~  Her thoughts composed of mastered themes and scattered dreams,~~~
     ~~~her lullaby voice made me wonder, if she lived inside a music box.~~~

                ~~~ Her agility rescued me from the ordeal in my life,~~~
~~~  And her anxiety anticipated and intercepted my inevitable sufferings,~~~

                ~~~ Heart so pure that a mere touch would infect it,~~~
              ~~~her perception was cloaked with myriad mysteries,~~~
                         ~~~she could listen to silent symphonies~~~
                       ~~~and she knew how every color tasted.~~~

                ~~~ To me she seemed like an alienating antiquity;~~~
                              ~~~ And one day I asked her: ~~~

                           ~~~ " ARE YOU SCHIZOPHRENIC ?"~~~
                                               She replied,
                              “TOUCH ME AND YOU WILL KNOW"
                          ~As I my fingertips reached closer to hers,~
             ~~  She started fading, and translated back into my head.~~
             ~~~crying for loss and laughing at me at the same time~~~
                          ~~~~ that is how I cheated myself.~~~~
