Sometimes I wish you could feel
The things that I feel
Both in my mind
And in my body

Sometimes I wish you could understand
That these thoughts never slow down
That to calm my mind
Is an impossible thing

Sometimes I wish you knew
How much I love you
So much that it physically hurts
When I am away from you

Sometimes I wish you could hear
The things that go through my mind
Of endless thoughts
That cloud my mind

Sometimes I wish you could see
The way you look to me
The beauty that you deny
That you don't believe

Sometimes I wish I could explain
Everything I try to tell you
That I don't have the word to express
How I feel right then

I know we aren't perfect
Nobody is
But you know so many of these things
Without me saying a word
