The smile upon your Lips
A grin of denial

Winds of excuses

As the core of of your sanity
Takes hold of your future.
It shows you the light
As you've never been told.
The truth for once again,
It seems rather old.
In the way of thinking
It's stupidly bold.
A heart for the taking
Is the way it's always been.
No worries for the small
And endlessly broken
