Nice Kitty

By WillowGreybird

A precious perky pet,
sitting pretty
in the lap of luxury.
She's got a full set

of manicured claws,
and a sharp tongue
behind pursed lips,
that takes no pause.

She purrs,
sweet nothings into Master's ear,
reminding him that all he holds
is in fact all hers.

If only the world held a few more demons,
a few more nasty knights in tarnished armor,
I would hear her mewing cries,
I could watch her choke on diamonds.

Pull her gold-plated collar taught
and feel her gasp for air.
I'd let her writhe in terror,
and enjoy a show no money could have bought.

But for now I'll bide my time and wait,
until her riches pool about her feet.
Until she drowns in gems and jewels,
and I get to watch the devil suffocate.
