The World Is Ours

By LiesWithin

The world spins and life goes on
And the air sings a beautiful song

The grass grows and new life begins
So take your time and soak it all in

Fire burns and leaves embers
Lead a life you want to remember

Loss happens and we feel incomplete
So easy to lose ourselves and accept defeat

Forgetting beauty and all that comes
Forgetting to acknowledge the privilege of a rising sun

Right now, someone would love to have your time
So enjoy yours as I learn to enjoy mine
