The Scarlet Letter
By Angel Plant
I write this letter to you
Sent with all my love
My heart and soul
With the Scarlet letter
I started with you
Knowing you was married
It was wrong
But I did not care
You was on my mind
Nothing else mattered
I had your heart and soul
The Scarlet letter
As we made love
With moans and cries
Tears of joy
Pain that would not go away
I had to have you
No matter what
I took from you
Your family
I am the Scarlet woman
With my sexy body
And the clothes so tight
The Scarlet letter

I liked the way this was constructed and built, but I don't think the closing line quite does this justice. It would almost be better to end it a stanza earlier, because the "sexy body" portion makes it almost seem trite and at odds with the rest. Very interesting piece that set quite the mood all the same. Ciao, T/S
