~In Love with a Phoenix~

By DemonsFire777

A spark of blue and the smell of cotton candy,
lavender perfume,
starts the flame that burns me to the core
of my soul,
burning, burning, burning
into an uncontrollable blaze, engulfing every part
of my now frail mind.
Staring into an empty darkness I fall forward
onto a shattered ash strewn world
seen only through your amber eyes.
Set a flame by your wicked desires
countless soul's that you have devoured
are but a wisp of memory to you,
fire runs through your veins,
destruction rains in your heart burning all to naught.
From the ashes of my burned out heart she rises again...
